Live Connected Community is a small community run by founder Marcy Borden. We care about your privacy and only collect what we need to serve you well. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email Marcy at marcy@liveconnectedcommunity.com.
What we collect
Your name and email address, when you join, register, sign up for the newsletter, take the quiz or fill out a form.
Your mobile phone number, only if you choose to share it at sign-up so we can text you.
Payment information, which is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
Your Spiritual Journey Quiz answers and the email address you give so we can send your results.
Messages you send through site forms, such as group coaching day and time requests or waitlist sign-ups.
Basic site usage information, collected through cookies and analytics (see below).
Why we use it
To give you access to your membership, course, coaching, the Collective Library and The Spiritual Journey Digital Workbook.
To process payments and registrations.
To send your quiz results, reply to your form messages and plan sessions.
To send our email newsletter, if you've signed up.
To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
Who helps us
We use a few trusted services to run the community. Each one handles your information under its own privacy policy:
Squarespace hosts our website, stores form submissions and provides site cookies and analytics.
MemberSpace manages memberships, paid registrations, member access and The Spiritual Journey Digital Workbook download.
Stripe processes payments securely.
Mailchimp sends our email newsletters.
Interact runs the Spiritual Journey Quiz and collects your answers and email to send your results.
Zoom hosts our live sessions.
Form submissions are also emailed to Marcy so she can respond to you.
We don't sell your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We only share it with the services above so they can do their part in running the community, or when required by law.
Text messages
If you check the box to receive texts when you sign up, we will send you session reminders and community updates by text message. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Texting is always optional and is never required to join or buy anything. We do not sell your phone number or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies and analytics
Our site uses cookies and analytics provided by Squarespace. These help the site work properly and show us general patterns, like which pages are visited. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.
Emails
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter any time using the link at the bottom of any email. You may still receive messages related to your membership, course or coaching.
Group sessions
What you share in a live session is heard by others in the group. We ask everyone to keep what's shared confidential, but please share only what you're comfortable with.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Just email Marcy at marcy@liveconnectedcommunity.com. We may need to keep some information, such as payment records, where the law requires it.
Keeping it safe
We rely on the security of our trusted service providers and take reasonable care with any information we handle. No online service can be completely secure, but we do our best to protect you.
Children
Live Connected Community is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
